9 Weeks

James went to church for the first time last Sunday and was the quietest baby in history! Everyone said they didn't even know he was there but were glad to hold him after the service! James is getting better and better at sleeping at night, he goes down between 9 and 10 and gets up once around 3am then goes right back to sleep. Mommy is really enjoying the longer hours of sleep:)

8 Weeks

James had his 2 month check up yesterday. He is 12lb 3oz and 23inches long! He was a real trooper for his first big round of shots, the nurse actually cried almost as much as James! He did really well yesterday, no fever or much fussiness he just slept most of the day and still slept overnight. Things are still going very well here, just wishing I didn't have to go to work in a couple weeks. At least I really like the day care he's going to so I don't need to worry excessively, you know just my normal crazy worrying! We should do fine as soon as we get adjusted to a new schedule.

7 weeks

I try to catch those wonderful smiles but the camera is just to slow! Oh well, the pics are still cute!

James goes for his 2 month check up on Monday so I'll post again after that and give everyone all the latest stats. I weighed James and I this morning and he seems to weigh about 12lbs!

6 weeks

James is 6 weeks old already, I just can not believe how fast he grows! Mom and Dad came down yesterday and said how much he has changed. He's big enough for us to start using the cloth diapers, he is in them now and we have no more disposable in the house to tempt me to be lazy! Jim is worried about the bulk between his legs but its not that bad now. We had tried them on a couple of weeks ago and it looked like James had no thighs! He went right from diaper to knee, it was quite funny.
