6 months

James had his 6 month check up tonight - 18lb 10oz (70th percentile), 26 1/2 inches (50th percentile) head circumference 17 inches (30th percentile) and Dr. Reinold says he looks great!
Here are some really cool pictures. My friend Jennifer Mack came over Saturday to do James' 6 month photo shoot and she did an awesome job! We have a couple printed and she is working on a disk for me.

James in Grandma's pot. We couldn't get the spoon out of his mouth!
Overexposed black and white.

These are just my photos- see how well he sits by himself!

And Daddy says I never let him get dirty!

Sorry no pictures again...took them but Kodak Easyshare is malfunctioning and I can't open it. Let me tell you how unhappy I will be if it doesn't get fixed quick!
James is doing great! Eat absolutely loves to eat. He has now had rice cereal, oatmeal, prunes, sweet potatoes, butternut squash and peas. He sits in his chair with his mouth open ready for more before I can even get more on the spoon! I really love making baby food, it is much easier than I would have thought. I just steam the veggies and mash them with the hand mixer I got as a wedding present (thank you thank you). One squash or a couple sweet potatoes fills the "ice cube trays" that are about an ounce each section then freeze and put in a container in the freezer. It is way cheaper than buying commercially made baby food and I know exactly what is in it. Up next is apples- though maybe he would like to try some yummy fruit now that I know he'll eat his veggies!
Hope everyone has a great week- I'll get pictures up as soon as the computer cooperates!

We had a great week. Grandma and Grandpa took very good care of us! This weekend they read stories for the video camera so James can see them when they are home and he loves to watch it! Saturday I went to see Melanie she had her second boy- Landon another 9 pounder! Sunday we went to Uncle Bones and Aunt Laura's for a picnic. Plenty of pictures this week!

James says "Have you lost it Mom? I have my clothes on and there is no water in my tubby!"
Nappy time!

I love my Daddy's new hat!

Look at me I can do it all by myself! James will not drink water from anything but a real cup!
Have a wonderful week!
