13 Weeks

Hello, how is everyone?! James is doing well at daycare, they all just love him. He gets special attention since he is the only infant but he has been put in the one year old room so they don't have to pay two teachers. That can be a bit of a problem what with biting one year olds but James seems to enjoy all the activity around him.

Memorial day weekend was spent at Grandma and Grandpa's- what a beautiful weekend! James met even more of his family at the Lake on Sunday. Thank you Uncle Don and Aunt Di for a great picnic.

12 Weeks

My first week at work went pretty well. It was made MUCH easier by my Mom and Dad. They took great care of James (not to mention Jim and I). Tomorrow James starts day care and I guess the best way to describe how I feel is that it's like the first day starting a new job- your nervous but excited at the same time. I know he will be fine and learn even more than I know to teach him. I just need to get used to the new schedule and I'll be fine too.

11 Weeks

We survived my first day back to work! James had a great day with his Grandparents and I didn't even cry. I will probably cry next week when I take him to daycare for the first time though.
My first mother's day was very nice, James (and Jim) gave me beautiful cards and we spent a wonderful weekend together.

10 weeks

James took his first trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house last weekend. He was very good considering the 5 hour car ride. My parents loved having James up and were surprised by how quiet the house was with a baby around. What can I say when he is held almost all day he has no reason to cry! James was even held for some nap times, check out Grandpa and James' nappy.

Well this is my last week of maternity leave:( so the posts may be a little less frequent but I'll try to keep up. I am as ready as I'll ever be to go back to work, still don't really want to though. Oh well, Michele said it is not as bad as the anticipation of going is- I hope she's right!
